This appeal is regarding medical emergency being faced by Mr. Mirza Ahmad Hasan “Kajjan,” (non-syed) approximately 60 years old, a staff member of Tanzeemul Makatib for past 24 years. Mr. Hasan is a specially-abled individual known for his generosity and compassion. He has demonstrated his selflessness through a lifelong commitment to caring for his late elder brother’s wife and two children, who are mentally unstable and require continuous support and medical attention. Despite his own health challenges, Mr. Hasan has worked tirelessly to provide for them, sacrificing his personal life and choosing not to marry in order to prioritize their well-being.
Recently, Mr. Hasan has been suffering from a respiratory illness for the past 14 days. Last night, he experienced severe chest pain and was rushed to Lari Cardiology Centre, KGMU, where he was diagnosed with a Myocardial Infarction (heart attack). Doctors have recommended an urgent angioplasty, with estimated expenses of approximately ₹90,000 (USD 1050), as confirmed by the hospital and detailed in the attached document. Furthermore, the doctors have advised that, during surgery, if an additional stent is required, the total expenses may increase to ₹1,30,000 (USD 1500).
