ABOUT FOUNDER

The Founder of Tanzeemul Makatib Khateeb-e-Azam Late Maulana Syed Ghulam Askari Saheb Qibla (PBUH) was born in a Syed family in a small town of Bijnore in the outskirts of Lucknow. He inherited love for religion and spirit of religiousness from his parents. The household atmosphere was purely religious. His father, Late Janab Syed Mohd. Naqi, despite being a graduate, was a strict follower of religion. Khateeb-e-Azam passed the examination of Mumtazul Afazil from Jamia Nazmia, Lucknow and also the final degree of “Tib” from Takmeel-ut-tib College Lucknow From there, he got admission in Madrasatul Waizeen Lucknow, under the guidance and teachings of late Allama Adeel Akhtar (PBUH), he became one of the most learned Islamic scholars of that time.

In 1951, after obtaining the degree from Madarsatul Waizeen, he stepped in the field to spread knowledge . He adorned the pulpit with his unparalleled oratory and undertook the responsibility of “Amr-Bil-Maroof” and “Nahi-Anil-Munkar”. He was bistowed the title of Khateeb-e-Azam – the greatest orator! He became a legend in his lifetime.
